Biography :

Amarchand Sathyapalan is currently working as a Research Assistant Professor at Metallurgical Engineering Department, University of Utah. His major research areas are the design and synthesis of new molecules for extraction, separation, selective electrodes, catalysis and sensors. Other interesting projects are Green energy efficient nano size titanium production and recovery of reagents, new catalysts for biodiesel separations, chemical degradation of natural materials for energy, new organic molecules for photovoltaics, new sensor materials for ketone body detection, hydrometallurgy, metal leaching etc.
