Prof.Feroz Alam Khan has completed his PhD from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology and postdoctoral studies from the University of Delaware,USA and the University of Uppsala , Sweden. He is a full Professor at the Department of Physics, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology . He is the leader of a research group Dhaka Materials Science Group supported by the International Science Programs,Uppsala University, Sweden. He is actively involved in nano-magnetism research and has published more than 80 research papers in reputed journals , supervised over 40 postgraduate degrees He is a fellow of the Bangladesh Physical Society and a life member of the Bangladesh Academy of Sciences. He is a member of the Serbian Ceramic Society. The objective of his  research activity is to attain sufficient capability to address cutting edge scientific issues, in the international perspective, within magnetic research and development of magnetic materials.
